PROJECT BLUE BOOK
Stephen Bassett, founder and executive director of Paradigm Research Group, the agency sponsoring the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, introduced a 15-minute video as part of his testimony to the panel on May 3. Bassett is a leading advocate in the nation for ending the 63-year government-imposed truth embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.
The 15-minute video revealed an elderly man whose name was not disclosed due to threats against his life and his family by his government so he would not speak out.
“This individual is in extremely poor health and probably will not be with us much longer,” Bassett told the panel. “He wanted his testimony to be presented; we agreed. …As it happened, he has been interviewed by two researchers, and they are here at the table today. Linda Moulton Howe interacted with this gentleman almost 14 years ago when he was thinking of coming forward, and then backed away due to threats against his family and himself. And then, recently, Richard Dolan interviewed him….”
The video consisted of an interview conducted by Richard Dolan — a witness at the Citizen Hearing who is a historian, author and television personality. His focus has been the destruction of our political liberties as a result of the extraterrestrial truth embargo, the possible nature of the non-humans themselves, and what their presence here means for our civilization.
The video was recorded on March 5, 2013 at an undisclosed location in the United States. It opened as an elderly man used a walker to enter what appeared to be a hotel room. He said he was 77 years old and that he “can’t live forever.” He said he expected his kidneys to shut down in a few more months and that what he experienced was too important to keep hidden any longer.
It was the fall of 1958, and he was a codebreaker for the Army. His superior officer pulled him aside and asked if he’d like to make some extra money. He consented but had to clear top White House clearance in order to do so. It turned out that his superior was a CIA director for the Eastern United States. The unidentified witness said he was given a CIA identification card, using an alias, when his security clearance went through six weeks later. He was assigned to Project Blue Book, a United States Air Force study to determine if UFOs were a threat to national security. He and his team interviewed witnesses of sightings to determine if they were credible, and they investigated the full scope of what the government knew about Roswell and about ETs known as greys — and much more was revealed to him.
“I was overwhelmed with all of this,” the witness told Dolan on the video. “…And I had to take a vow that I wouldn’t tell anybody.”
At the time, the government told the public that UFOs were nothing more than misidentification, hoaxes, weather balloons or the product of wild imagination.
“My boss came to me and he says, ‘We both have a new assignment,'” the man told Dolan. “…We’re going to the Capitol. We’re going to be part of the Eisenhower push, trying to find out something, all about these aliens.”

At the time, Majestic 12 — or MJ-12 — was the secret committee of scientists and government and military leaders that investigated the alleged crash landing and recovery of a UFO and aliens around Roswell, NM, a decade earlier. The committee met with President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Vice President Richard Nixon, members of the CIA (including the man testifying on the video) and told the president that the government did not have jurisdiction over them in the investigation. Eisenhower threatened to invade the secret military base known as Area 51, located northwest of Las Vegas, in order to get some answers.
The unidentified man whose words were heard by the panel of former members of Congress said he and his superior then were flown to Area 51 on a fact-finding mission on behalf of the president. When they arrived, they were driven about 15 miles south in the desert to a secret base called S4, and they were taken to a building with several garage-door openings. Inside were various saucer crafts.
“The very first one — the Roswell craft,” he said, “was kind of crashed up. But apparently, every alien that was in that died — except for a couple.
“The Roswell craft was very strange. It looked like real heavy aluminum foil. You could get next to it and rock it. The whole thing probably weighed 150, 300 pounds.”
He was told that the source of power for the craft was “a reverse gravitational thing of some kind.”
“In fact, later on, I got the mathematical code for reversing gravity on a 3 x 5 card.”
Also while at S4, the unidentified witness said he and his superior viewed the autopsy film of aliens who died in the Roswell crash. “And then the colonel said, ‘What we’ve got in here is we’re interviewing a grey alien.'”
“We thought, boy, I had no idea we were going to see the real thing. All we’ve seen was film. …My boss was able to go in and have a partial interview with him.”
The witness described the alien as looking “oriental,” but with an alien-shaped head, alien-looking skin, a very thin nose and holes for ears.
After that experience at S4, the CIA operatives were taken back to the Area 51 base. They were shown a U-2 spy plane that, at that time, was top secret. Not long afterward, in 1960, the shooting down of a U-2 in Soviet airspace sparked the Cold War.
Upon returning to Washington, D.C., the witness and his superior officer met with Eisenhower, Nixon and Herbert Hoover. The CIA operatives described the alien, the space craft and other black projects they had witnessed.
“They were just totally in shock,” the witness told Dolan. Eisenhower, he said, “appeared for the first time to be worried.” However, it wasn’t the presence of aliens that worried the president, the witness said. It was the presence of black or secret military operations underway at the secret bases. The president, in his farewell address in 1961, famously said, “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.”
After his retirement from the military and CIA, the witness said he had agreed to be interviewed about 14 years ago by investigative journalist Linda Moulton Howe. However, her phone was tapped and authorities secured his phone number and located him.
“I was going to a grocery store,” he said. “Two guys in black suits came out of a black Lincoln Town Car and came over to see me. And they told me that I better not publish anything or talk to Linda about any more things. So at that time, I did. I stopped. I’d rather remain anonymous and never show my face on anything.”
The 15-minute video shown at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure ended with the witness saying he felt good about speaking out. “I kind of feel like there’s a load off of my shoulders, because I had an awful lot of secrets I’ve kept over the years.”
