"Zeitgeist," by Menotodokukagiri
As human beings, we share many common myths and beliefs. Periodically, some among us challenge those myths and beliefs. Examples are Peter Joseph, creator of Zeitgeist, the Movie (2007), and Jacque Fresco and Roxanne Meadows of The Venus Project.

Zeitgeist: The Movie
The first part of this documentary film questions religion – Christianity specifically – and the second part focuses on 9/11 conspiracy theories. Part 3 argues that the three wars of the United States during the 20th century were waged purely for economic gain by what the film refers to as “international bankers.” Zeitgeist: The Movie – a documentary film by Peter Joseph about historical and modern occurrences, including the origins of Christianity, the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the banking system. It was officially released online on June 18, 2007 on zeitgeistmovie.com.
Zeitgeist: Addendum
The follow-up documentary, Zeitgeist: Addendum, follows where the first film left off, focusing on international banking. Part 2 is an interview with best-selling author and activist John Perkins based on his book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. Part 3 is an interview with futurist Jacque Fresco, co-founder of the Venus Project. Part 4 looks closely at social values and natural law. Zeitgeist: Addendum – a follow-up documentary film by Peter Joseph, who stated: “The failure of our world to resolve the issues of war, poverty, and corruption, rests within a gross ignorance about what guides human behavior to begin with. It addresses the true source of the instability in our society, while offering the only fundamental, long-term solution.” The Addendum premiered at the 5th annual Artivist Film Festival in Los Angeles in October 2008. It was released free online.

The Venus Project
The Venus Project presents a bold, new direction for humanity that entails nothing less than the total redesign of our culture. There are many people today who are concerned with the serious problems that face our modern society: unemployment, violent crime, replacement of humans by technology, over-population and a decline in the Earth’s ecosystems. The Venus Project promotes Jacque Fresco’s visions to improve society by moving towards a resource-based economy and the design of sustainable cities, energy efficiency, natural resource management and advanced automation, focusing on the benefits it will bring to society.
The following is a 10-part interview conducted with two people featured in the Zeitgeist films (above): Jacque Fresco and Roxanne Meadows of The Venus Project:
