Oh God, Oh God, This is my Destiny

jesus

Is our experience of life as a victim or a victor a choice -- or our destiny? In reference to my previously published article in the April 2010 Edge called, "Relationship and Oneness," I would like to re-examine Jeshua's plea, "Oh God, why have you forsaken me," and determine the truth of his experience as he hung dying on the cross, appearing to be a victim of the hatred and ignorance of the people of the world at that time. What is the truth of this apparent victim scenario? Perhaps it is a … [Read more...]

Tellinger’s return to Cities: Advanced Technology of the Ancients

Tellinger

Michael Tellinger is a scientist, explorer and internationally acclaimed author who has become an authority on the origins of humankind and the vanished civilizations of southern Africa. Scholars have told us that the first civilization on Earth emerged in a land called Sumer some 6,000 years ago. New archaeological and scientific discoveries made by Michael Tellinger, and a team of leading scientists, show that the Sumerians and even the Egyptians inherited all their knowledge from an … [Read more...]

How God Came to Be and Who God Is

abstract_light2

God came to be...as a result of evolutionary opportunities -- created by consistent inconsistencies out in natural space (a machine, in essence) as a product of happenstance, an anomaly. For many, the word machine is a difficult concept to grasp. We are molecular but then, so is a machine. The only thing that separates us from a rock is the arrangement of particles and the different pressures they are under. Even our consciousness is a product of particle motion and pressure. God knows that … [Read more...]

"Horror, I've seen horror...the horrors that you've seen. But that gives you no right to call me a murderer. You have the right to kill me, you have the right to do that but, you have no right to judge me." - Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now (Hearts of Darkness) The above quote was a portion of Brando's last monologue to explain that his atrocities were no different than the atrocities of his country, or, for that matter, no different than the atrocities of religion. How is it that so … [Read more...]

No Jesus, Just Rub

boy

A coaching client told me that every night she gives her 3-year-old son Owen a massage before he goes to sleep. Then the two pray to Jesus. Eventually the boy figured out that when mom starts praying, the massage is over and it's time to go to sleep. One night as mom sat at the edge of Owen's bed, he took her hand and placed it on his tummy. He told her, "No Jesus tonight, Mom. Just rub." Owen's request may be symbolic of a dynamic you and I might employ if we truly wish to bring relief to … [Read more...]

shadow

I thought I knew this for certain: I thought I was awake. I was not asleep, at least as far as my senses are concerned. But why do you watch me like a goatherd who watches his restless goats? You watch over me days and nights. Mornings and evenings. I feel your eyes in my skin. Your stares rip into my bone and deep down my heart and I feel and get embarrassed. Then when I know it was you, I get intoxicated and my mind dissolves. You seem to know what I am feeling. Don't you? You seem to be … [Read more...]

Oh My God? A Perfect Film For This Time: A Review

god_poster

Oh My God? is a visual testament to humanity's interconnection. A perfect film for this time, Peter Rodger's film reveals that what we truly share in common with each other is our desire to use whatever we can - especially orthodox interpretations of Scripture, of any religion - to ensure that we are safe. Many of us fear others, and many of us wrap ourselves in divine Scripture to protect ourselves. That is usually done in the name of God. When asked what God is, some say it is "war." But … [Read more...]
