Acceptance and learning the lesson

It was one of those months. Death in the family, complicated hospitalizations, interrupted meditation retreat, equipment failures, delivery of damaged goods, dental infections and car accidents, not to mention the general chaos associated with the holidays. Might as well face it, you’re addicted to drama

We all know the people whose lives are the stage for constant drama. They live from crisis to crisis; every conflict, or roadblock is fodder for their personal soap opera. When I thought deeper about addiction - beyond drugs, alcohol, sex or food - what came to mind was our addiction to drama. Everyone knows someone who is always in the throes of some emotional drama or another. Some people just don't feel alive unless things are out of control and they have dramatic stories to tell.
